Young Adults' Options


Except though you're married, don't reside with your parents, or are no longer a child on your parents, the ACA helps you to remain on or rejoin your parents' health care scheme if you're under the age of 26 and aren't offering health benefits by your work. To take advantage of this option, contact your parent's insurance provider.

Health insurance, prescription medications, dental care, and other facilities are provided by certain hospitals, community centres, and clinics independent of the ability to pay. A neighbourhood health facility should be used by anyone, regardless of whether or not they have health insurance. The amount you pay is determined by your salary. Locate a community health centre in your area.
